These terms govern your use of Distill Markets, operated by DISTILL MARKETS PTY LTD (ACN 699 294 490, ABN 36 699 294 490). By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms.
1. What we provide
Distill Markets is a data and analytics tooling product. We provide market data, financial information derived from public filings, computed metrics, scores, and analysis. We do not provide personal financial product advice, hold client funds, or execute trades. See our Disclaimer.
2. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annual) in US dollars (USD) via our payment processor, Stripe. Prices exclude GST. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by law. See our Refund & Cancellation policy.
3. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We exclude liability for any consequential, indirect, or incidental loss or damage, including (without limitation) trading or investment losses.
4. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where our liability for breach of such a guarantee cannot be excluded, our liability is limited (where permitted) to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.
5. Acceptable use
You may not redistribute, resell, scrape, or sublicense the underlying data or our derived outputs except as expressly permitted. Access is for your own use under your account.
6. Intellectual property
Distill Markets owns the platform and its derived content, including the entity graph, signal scores, and computed analytics. Underlying third-party data remains the property of its respective providers.
7. Account termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time; on closure we cancel your subscription and handle your data per our Privacy Policy.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
